About

At Jessica Ford Design, we forgo conventional style distinctions in favor of story and soul. The homes we create have an enduring sense of place and identity, drawing inspiration from their natural environment, original patina, and historical context. We thoughtfully source pieces from diverse eras, design genres, and locales to curate a design that is truly unique to the lives they inhabit. Our work creates a ripple effect as we support the craftsmen, artisans, and small businesses of our community and design homes that celebrate the timeless nature of quality, character, and culture.

Jessica has always been a creative at heart. Growing up she spent countless hours rearranging and organizing her childhood bedroom, foraging flowers by the river where she lived, and collecting vintage decor that she would refinish with her father.

Following her graduation from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, she found herself in Northampton, Massachusetts, a colorful community with a thriving arts scene. While living there she was able to work with local creatives and developed a deep appreciation and understanding of design. In 2013, Jessica began studying residential interiors at Boston Architectural College. She spent the following years at one of Boston’s high-end residential design firms until 2018 when she founded her own boutique design studio, Jessica Ford Design.

Since then, Jessica has had the honor of designing a number of homes throughout the Boston area. Even today, her initial introduction to design in funky Northampton informs her layered, inviting, and unexpected style.
